Wiki描述西藏时说：“Infant mortality has dropped from 43% in 1950 to 0.661% in 2000, life expectancy has risen from 35.5 years in 1950 to 67 in 2000”（http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibet）

BBC 『A Year In Tibet』第三集16分前后这样描述：Tibet has the lowest life expectancy of anywhere in China, and one in three babies die before their first birthday. （该片描述的是2006年的西藏）

Infant mortality的定义是：the number of deaths of infants (one year of age or younger) per 1000 live births.

我觉得BBC的这个三个中有一个婴儿早于一岁死亡的说法欠妥，哪里有这么高的婴儿死亡率，大家认为呢？

这个婴儿死亡率似乎弄错了，高的太离谱，不知道是不是有意为之。

西藏那里就像其他地方中国落后农村，医疗条件本来就差，在加上他们又非常迷信，有病有灾的时候经常还要去找巫师和喇嘛，自然条件恶劣，饮食习惯也不太好，婴儿死亡率高也不是特别奇怪。

但是即使高，也不可能那么高呀！

如果是三个中有一个婴儿早于一岁死亡，那不是全西藏到处是婴儿的尸体。你觉得达赖可能放弃这么好的攻击中国的机会吗？届时，全世界不传得沸沸扬扬，说中国要灭绝西藏儿童。
